Reason For Outage - 5/3/07

From 8:30 AM PST through 8:50 AM PST, Userplane had intermittent problems with our database server. During this time frame some services would have seen problems. See below for details:

Integrated Apps Clients: Existing sessions were unaffected, new sessions sometimes would have failed to load
Instant Apps Clients: Existing sessions were unaffected, new sessions would have failed to load

We are sorry for any inconvienience this might have caused and we are in the process of migrating over to a new fully redundant database platform to help ensure this kind of interruption cannot happen in the future. Also, we are working on an interim fix that will stop it from happening in the meantime.
