Webchat version 1.8.2: 8/26/2005

New: Added maxDockItems to user prefs
New: Added Japanese characters
Bug Fix: Fixed problem where video wouldn't send if user had to allow access to camera
Bug Fix: Fixed problem where jumps in audio level were causing pauses in and then accelerated video
Bug Fix: Prevent users from repeating messages endlessly
Bug Fix: Watching yourself would reset the sending a/v buttons
Bug Fix: If allowRestricted preference was false, sometimes the wrong rooms would be allowed/denied
Bug Fix: Fixed the scrollbar so that it doesn't stop working when a new message comes in or the height of the room list changes
Bug Fix: Prevent font sizes larger than 12 going through the system and report an error if someone tries it
Bug Fix: Now don't show dock button if NOT avEnabled
Bug Fix: Fix problem where users were getting disconnected in low bandwidth situations
Bug Fix: Smileys were off by a couple spaces
Bug Fix: make output text wrap if use smileys is false. This fixes chinese, korean, etc.

Userplane Maintenance 8/25/2005 @ 11:00PM PST

To increase Userplane's overall bandwidth capabilities and service reliability, we will be upgrading our primary switch, installing new power distribution hardware, and applying some of the latest security updates on Thursday 8/25/2005 from 11PM PST to Friday 8/26/2005 2AM PST. There could be a couple very short periods of downtime. We expect the total combined downtime to be less than 5 minutes.

We appreciate your understanding while we improve our service to you.

HTML Presence & Pop-Up Notification Update: 8/9/2005

We updated the HTML based presence detection code and the DHTML layer that notifies users in the event of a blocked popup in the following ways:

- DHTML layer now stays at the top of the browser even if the user has scrolled down on the page
- Fixed potential problem that could happen if win_ie_pd never fully loads

You will need to get the latest version of the functions.js file for your server language from the examples at http://apps.userplane.com

Webchat version 1.8.1: 8/8/2005

New: Webchat: Added chat history. Now when you change rooms, you will see the last few messages. This is configurable via the maxHistoryMessages XML tag.
New: Webchat: Added norwegian characters
Bug Fix: Webchat: Fixed potential disconnecting bug

Webrecorder version 1.3.1: 8/5/2005

New: Accepts connections before prefs loaded, disconnect those connections if server not authorized. Shuold speed up connect times when server is starting.
New: Added German locale
Bug Fix: Certain routers were keeping users connected even though disconnected, added code to clean up these users
Bug Fix: There were times that the recording's first frame was not showing up.

Webmessenger version 1.8.9: 8/5/2005

New: Can now change many background and font colors
New: Quick message list for setting predefined messages
New: Added showLocalUserIcon for when there is no AV and you want to show a picture of the user
New: If domainlogolarge or nonDeliveryMessage are not provided in domain prefs, the values will be pulled from the locale file
New: DHTML only: Fixed hebrew bugs where zeroes and an asterix was showing sometimes
New: Added noTextEntry tag to startIC so you can specify a user can not type.

Userplane Maintenance 8/4/2005 @ 4:00AM PST

To increase Userplane's overall security, we will be upgrading our firewall on Thursday 8/4/2005 from 4AM to 5AM PST. There should be a very short period of downtime while we do the final switchover. We expect the total downtime to be less than 5 minutes.
